Patrick Sulken is a music director, arranger, and orchestrator for theatre, film, and television. He was the music director of Pretty Woman: The Musical on Broadway, Little Shop of Horrors and Teeth off-Broadway, and was the music supervisor and arranger of We Are The Tigers off-Broadway, producing the viral sensation Original Off-Broadway Cast Album. His Broadway credits include Hell's Kitchen, & Juliet, Death Becomes Her, Mamma Mia, Once Upon a Mattress, Beetlejuice, Mean Girls, Kinky Boots, Anastasia, Something Rotten!, and Gigi. Particularly focused on the development of new musicals, Patrick has conducted the premiere productions of fuzzy (Barrington Stage) Regency Girls (The Old Globe), Fly (La Jolla Playhouse), Double Helix (Bay Street Theatre), Babe Lincoln (Edinburgh Fringe) and Trisha Paytas' Big Broadway Dream. His work has been heard on the stages of Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center, as well as NBC's Today and TBS's Full Frontal with Samantha Bee. His arrangements and orchestrations of Disney's Alice in Wonderland, Jr and Dare to Dream, Jr. can be heard on stages across the world.
Patrick is a vocal coach with an active studio for all ages and a teaching artist with organizations like Broadway Imagined and the Open Jar Institute.
Through collaborations that focus on equity, accessibility, and kindness, Patrick makes music that deepens an audience's connection to evocative stories.
